Mr. Maigadi is the former MD/CEO of African Petroleum Plc. It was to his credit that AP was revived from total eclipse to profitability. Hitherto becoming the Managing Director, he served as the Treasurer, Head of Finance and Executive Director Finance. He was also one time treasurer of Unipetrol Nigeria Limited. Prior to joining the oil and gas industry, he was a branch manager in the defunct Highland bank of Nigeria Limited and rose to the position of Ag. Assistant General Manager before resigning in 1997. He was also a member of the Governing Council of Adamawa State University. He is presently the chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Kwakyama Group of Companies.
Mr. Maigadi is a graduate (2.1) of Accounting from ABU Zaria and holds two Masters Degree in Finance and Banking from University of Lagos and MSc Economics from Baze University Abuja. He also holds FCA (Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, FCTI ( Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation), MIoD and several others. He has received several awards and participated as a resource person in seminars/courses in the fields of corporate governance, corporate finance, change management, accounting, taxation and general economic contemporary issues.
