Mr. Sa’adu is a graduate of Business Administration. with Financial Management. as area of specialization. He started his banking career as an officer with the defunct Highland Bank limited where rose the position of Branch Coordinator.
He also worked with Aso Savings and Loans plc, and held the positions of Branch Manager, Head of Retail Banking & Head of Mortgage Department at various times over the period of 9 years. He was awarded the ‘’Must Valuable/Outstanding Senior Staff of the year, 2003’’ in recognition of his contributions in the areas of Branch Management., reconciliation of branch accounts, setting up of new Branches, Cash Centers and Staff Training while at Aso Savings and Loans Plc.
He also served with SavingScorp Microfinance bank limited as Head of Operations and later became the Ag. MD/CEO of the organization before he exited. He was the pioneer MD/CEO of Brethren Microfinance bank limited where he successfully laid a good foundation for the bank and was given an award by EYN, the principal shareholders of the bank for his work as a pioneer MD of the bank. Mr. Sa’adu has attended several courses in the areas of Banking operations, Credit delivery and Administration, Management Skills, Public Relations & customer handling in banks, Communication and Interpersonal skills, International banking, Export Management and financing, etc. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and also a Microfinance Certified Banker. He is presently the MD/CEO of Premier Microfinance Bank Limited.
