Who We Are
Premier Microfinance Bank Limited (RC 7205999) is a licensed Unit Microfinance Bank incorporated on 1st November 2023 and issued a banking licence on 23rd May 2024. The Bank commenced full banking operations on 15th July 2024.
Premier Microfinance Bank Limited was established to take over the assets and liabilities of the defunct Michika Microfinance Bank Limited (1993–2023), continuing a long-standing legacy of grassroots banking with improved governance and modern banking practices.
The Bank’s Focus
To operate professionally, adhering strictly to banking ethics, due process, and regulatory guidelines as laid down by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other supervisory institutions, ensuring efficient service delivery, safety of customers’ deposits, and profitability for investors.
To serve as a vehicle for development and poverty alleviation in Michika and Madagali Local Government Areas, as well as other surrounding communities.
To enable our customers residing within our host community and its environs, in other parts of the country and as well outside the country to conveniently carry out banking transactions through the Bank’s digital banking platforms, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, USSD services, POS, and ATM channels.
